Its been one of those days. I was suppose to take a group of the women to a retreat, but everyone seems to rather sit around waiting for an apartment or job to show up at their doorstep. I can't blame them, because I wish my parents would spend their time looking for a job and apartment for me.
Anyways, it was a good thing that I stayed at the shelter, because the week while I was gone we got a family or four and then last night we got another family of four. Luckily today around lunch time both family's of four with children all under the age of six were trying to exit the shelter. I really couldn't tell you what happened or how everything got done, but some how both room, all the beds and all six children got in the place where they needed to be before 1:00. I'm pretty sure I took and handed off the 10 month old off many times and finally found enough car seats for all six children. So today was kind of crazy, but it was still good. Even though we went from 11 children to 4, I must say I did miss the shelter.
