Double Shift and more to come

It was suppose to snow a 100% on Monday, but it seems like the snow came a little late. It started to snow slightly Tuesday morning and has yet to stop. I worked the end of second shift alone and all of third. I would say the night was full of events, continuing with lice and sickness. It seems to be the outcome of a bunch of strangers living together in a small space. If I could relive last night I would love to fast-forward to 1:00am, because that was when things finally settled down. All the other workers were all home by 10:00pm and children were throwing up everywhere with mom's cleaning until midnight. Then we had crying babies with fevers and children with lice until as least 12:45. Lucky by 1:00 I got to settle down in the bathroom do another lice treatment on myself to ensure that I am not infected. After my treatment of mayo and thin combs I cuddled with a blanket and watch a few movies to keep myself awake. All night it snowed and all night I watched movie after movie until 7:30am when someone came in to relieve me. I only watched three and none of them were ones I would have died if I couldn't finished, but they did keep me awake. the residents were cute, because once I was leaving and they realized that I was indeed there all night (awake and ready) they would be all upset for me and say something about how I should have taken advantage of the couch... I know the regular workers of night shift might take a small snooze, but I feel like I wouldn't have waken up if I tried to sleep while I was working. I worked 17 hours straight last night and the first thing I did upon returning home was grab my camera and walk back outside and take pictures of the snow. Yup! things must look ten times prettier after an all night and 17 hours of work.  No worried though I slept about 4 hours after that and if I need to too I could sleep a little bit longer, before I need to head back to work and take on another night of sick  and lice covered child.
