"Get out of my Trailer"

This past Sunday I packed up a CAP car and drove from Rockcastle County and went to McCreary County to live in a converted office trailer for two weeks. I went on a little adventure to another county to volunteer and be a temporary community for another volunteer. I was a little worried at first, but it didn't take long to adjust or take on my new volunteer position.

During the day I hang out in the community center, doing remodeling work and anything else that is needed. Then at 3:30 I spend the next three hours with children in our after school program. I thought I was going to work in their CDC, but instead I was put in the community center and I LOVE it! Then at night I hang out at home with my only trailer mate and that is also fun. Actually this week has been a great vacation from everything and I'm glad I came. I love my house mate, my job, and the children. :-)

The only bad stuff is that the whole living in a trailer requires no dish washer, no washer and dryer, and not much space.  Even the bad stuff makes this experience worth it and enjoyable. However it would be nice to have phone service.
