Last night we had our house meeting, which was good. After house meeting we talked about our heroes and shared them with everyone in our house. I enjoy house meetings, because it is the only night that everyone in the house is home and we all eat and talk together.

The past few days
Things here have been going and going. Which has caused me to get a cold. The lack of sleep and the germs floating around have finally caught up with me and are now slowing me down. Before this lovely cold found me I celebrated Halloween with the children and their moms. We had a nice Halloween party for the children and some students from the local College dropped by and helped us all out. It was a great success and a perfect way to end the week. Then on Saturday I got to see my parents and my little sister. It was a short visit, but it was nice to have the family around. We went out to eat, talked and I showed them around my place and the place I worked. To end Saturday I was planning on going to a party. Instead I decided to just hang out with Paul and his friends. Here in Kentucky people frown upon celebrating Halloween on Sundays (which is really weird to me), so for Halloween I see just staying in for the day and watching tv/ movies and going to bed early.

Teusday and Wednesday
Tuesday I had a second shift, so I went to Wal Mart and bought some things that will be used to make my costume. There is a Zebra Print Snuggie in our house and I decided it would be fun to be a zebra for Halloween. Sadly Miley Cyrus is not into zebra print and there were no clothes with zebra print in her line of clothing. But in the end I found some zebra print bandannas and a black and white tang top. I spent most of my day sewing and resewing my costume so it would fit and being use able for a party. Tuesday night we hallowed out pumpkins and had a normal less stressful day for work. Which was a nice relief.

Making cookies makes everything better
Well today pretty much sucked. The women were driving me up the wall, the children were horrible and well I am kind of glad I didn't have second shift. It wasn't until I had a nice 15 minutes of talking with the lady in charge and another worker was I calm enough to go home. I would love to get into details, but pretty much I was sick of watching children, sick of complaining mother, and sick of just the situation.
Lucky by the time I got home I left work at work and enjoyed the great company of my house. We had meat loaf, potatoes salad, and beans. Surprising enough I liked it all, either I'm getting hungrier or I am growing up and liking things. Well after dinner I went on a nice walk and then chilled by the tv and crocheted for a bit. then to end a stressful day I worked out to a Richard Simmons's video. Yup, I relieved my high school years with Mr. Castine and danced with Richard like a pro. Sadly there were no awkward purple jerseys and long white P.E. shorts. It wasn't a killer work out, but it was humorous to dance with Richard and to laugh at the video itself. To end my night I baked cookies and started on my pudding and cookie pie. Everyone liked to cookies, so hopefully the pie turns out well too.

AHHH!
Well lets see on Thursday I got up packed my bags and went yet again to Floyd County to Camp Shawnee and spent a couple of days with my fellow CAP volunteers.
