AHHH!

Well lets see on Thursday I got up packed my bags and went yet again to Floyd County to Camp Shawnee and spent a couple of days with my fellow CAP volunteers.
Things went pretty smoothly this time and lucky for me there was not as much of car sickness as it could have been. I took some motion sickness medicine to keep me from getting car sick. YAY! Sadly I didn't feel so well until Friday afternoon. I would like to thank the older well prepared women at CAP would supplied me with drugs to remove my headache. My stomach issues are still there, but the lack of headache made the retreat way more enjoyable. I even felt well enough to make some crafts and play Ultimate Frisbee, still failed at Ultimate Frisbee, but I did manage to run into two guys around 6 foot in attempts to retrieve the said frisbee. These two guys were worried for my safety after I ran into them and asked me multiple times if I was okay. I want to thank my older brothers for teaching me how to tackle someone and NOT get a head injury. I didn't go hiking, which is sad, but I got a nice sunburn on the sides of my nose, because I decided to lay out in the sun. :-) The retreat as a whole was great and very nice to take a break from the stress of work. So even though I wasn't feeling my best, I'm glad I went.

Upon returning from Floyd county and taking those amazing country roads that wrap around mountains, I relaxed ate some dinner chatted it up with my best friend and slowly unpacked. I started on checking the grocery list to make sure I had everything for the dinner I was making. Which only requires the 2 lbs of sausage being made to feed roughly 20 people. :-) Oh I'm excited :-)! I did find an idea for my devotion. I was thinking to do something for the Day of the Dead and make a prayer service for all those who have died in our lives. However I am a little worried about emotions being poured out and lots of crying. Maybe I should add tissues to the grocery list too and I should check on if we have candles or not too.
Anyways besides getting everything done and figured out for this week I went out dancing. I kind of thought that I should stay in watch a move relax, but some other people told me otherwise. I went out contra dancing, which is kind of a mix or folk, line, and square dancing. I kind of enjoyed it and I would say it was something to experience. Tonight was the night they had the girls ask the boys. Which didn't bother me, but I really hate when the girls ask the boys, because all the good dancers get taken first. Lucky for me tonight there were almost as many guys as there were girls, so I almost always had a dance partner. So I danced most of the night, got a couple blisters on my toes, and showed off the only skirt I brought with me to Kentucky. I feel like if i do go home for Thanksgiving I will be fixing my brown skirt and bring it plus more with me for the weekends when I get tired of pants. I also finally met the guy that is the younger brother of one of Paul's friends. This wouldn't be so exciting, but I was glad that I actually got to meet him instead of hearing about him from all these different people. I kind of felt like a creeper when people kept telling me about how this guy and all the things he has been during since he has been in school this year. So since I finally met him and danced with him I don't feel so bad about people telling me all his personal life. Actually I would prefer if I didn't hear stories about random strangers' personal lives. But I feel this will be an ever occurring things, because mom's like to talk about their children and I happen to always be around to listen. Tomorrow is going to be fill of shopping and hopefully I'll either get a nap and get some laundry done before work on Monday.
