After many many many fire bands and stuff, it finally RAINED!. Which means the ground is wet, the risk of fires goes down to almost nothing and there is water in our creek. For the first time since I got here there is running water in our creek bed. I have never gotten so excited over rain, but here the rain means a lot to the farms and a lot to the people. So I got excited for them. Our numbers are pretty low at work so things are pretty mild at work too. I feel when I return after New Years we will be bursting at the seams and I'll be begging for these days. It was pretty easy, so crocheting, friendship bracelets and knitting. It was crafty day. In community during devotion after dinner did a little thing about taking a journey with God and we talked about and thought about our futures. I know that as of now I have no idea where I will next year, but for once in my I'm okay with that.
On non-Kentucky news, I heard words from Missouri when my friend Jess called me. I can' t wait to go home and enjoy some rest and clean up my stuff some more. Plus seeing some people I haven't seen in months would be great too. :-)
